I’m Hilary.

Eager to learn and contribute, I leverage my design skills and fresh perspective to craft visually compelling solutions that effectively communicate ideas.

My Story

Born and raised in Louisiana, I love nature, good food, and festive hospitality. Sweet tea and bluegrass make me smile. Unsweet tea and hurricane warnings make me frown.

I served proudly and honorably in the U.S. Navy (active and reserves) for nine years. After that, I attended the University of Nevada-Reno (Go Wolfpack!) and received a B.A. in Art History. Nestled back in my homestate with my two rescue pups, I have continued my lifelong learning journey with a B.A. in Graphic Design (SNHU). I love everything about design- history, mechanics, psychological and emotion impacts- all of it! The main thing I’ve learned about design is that there is always more to learn. Isn’t that exciting!

I moved around quite a bit while in the military, but I settled in SE Louisiana years ago. I love exploring the area and attending the numerous festivals. If you’d like to read (and see) a little bit about that, visit my blog Northshore Lore & Rapport.
